Hello Roger,
I wanted to send a warm thank you to you and all of the members of your group. My father enjoyed very much participating in the annual Nordic Fests. He always spoke very highly of all of you. He had taken my son once or twice who has found memories of the experience. When my mother received a copy of the Nyheter you sent her, she called my brother, sister and I. Although I know my father was a special person it is nice to know others did as well. Your kind words have meant a lot to all of us. Thank you very much & see you in November.
Sincerely,
Bob Bavaro

God dag!! hvordan star det til?
I found your web site and it was so interesting I felt i had to let you know. Just where in WI, did you come from? We live in Westby which is about 100 miles north of Madison.
My husband Orin and I belong to Solvang Lodge #457 of Westby. We are not a
real large group, Ii'm not quite sure the exact number but have about 40 at
each meeting. We meet the last Tue. night of the month . Have a short program
plus the business meeting, and
lunch of course. Two Norwegians can't get together with out coffee. "Vil
du ha en liten skvett kaffe?"
Westby has a very large Syttende Mai celebration every year, since 1969. Starts a week before with the crowning of the new Syttende Mai princess and her court, This is with a banquet of course/with kaffe. Sat. May 14th there will displays of rosemaling, wood carving, painting, all for sale. We have a heritage tent where this is displayed. Oh, yes and a violin maker too. There is a car show a railroad display and old engines display. And lots more. Sat. night, Stan Borrison leads off the entertainment. Sunday there will be meat ball and lefse dinners served at both churches with kaffe of course. Finished off with a large parade. Fun for all.
My husband has a cousin living in Lanesboro, MA [may have misspelled that]. Is that far from Beverly?
Well..... Ta Det Med Ro,

Hi,
I attended the Nordi Fest at the Topsfield Fair Grounds and found it very enjoyable.
I got there a little late, so I missed out on some of the Norwegian Food.
I did get some herring though which was delicious. I will definitely attend
next year and hope to attend the fair in Hamilton (when and where is it again?)
Thank you!

Hi Roger-
I just read the entire Morgensolen web site! What a lot of work. You did a
great job. Now we have a reference to include on all our flyers, press
releases, etc.
I will email the library inventory soon. I meant to do that after last meeting and forgot until I looked at the web site.
Thanks again.
June Guidara
Hei Roger,
You have done a wonderful job on the web site. I looked at the various sections
and the different items and it is easy to move around and very interesting
to read.
This is truly a "Job Well Done!"

Hi Roger,
Congratulations on developing a website for Morgensolen. The Norumbega website has generated a lot of interest in our lodge and in our language classes. It has made a tremendous difference. It is definitely the way to go.

Roger,
Nicely done, this will be a big attribute to the lodge in keeping the members informed and of course getting new members as well. Keep up the good work.
